Hungary Visit Visa – Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Hungary Visit Visa, applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:

  1. No visa rejection within the past 3–6 months from any country in the Schengen Area
  2. Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen area
  3. Passport must have a minimum of 2 blank pages for visa stamps
  4. No history of overstaying in any European country
  5. No criminal record or ongoing legal proceedings
  6. No involvement in “visa shopping” (applying to multiple Schengen countries to increase approval chances)
  7. Ability to provide proof of sufficient financial means to cover your entire stay
  8. No history of illegal employment while holding a visa
  9. Never been deported from any country
  10. Clear, genuine, and consistent purpose of travel across all submitted documents

REQUIRED DOCUMENT

1. Physical Documents
The following documents must be submitted as original physical copies during the visa application process.

  • Passport (original passport required)
  • Recent Colored Photograph (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm)
  • Bank Statement for the Last Three (3) Months (must be wet stamped by the issuing bank)

2. Documents Requiring Certified Translation
The following documents must be translated into English or German by a sworn/certified translator if originally issued in Indonesian.

  • Birth Certificate – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Family Certificate (Kartu Keluarga) – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • National ID (KTP) – original document accompanied by certified English translation

3. Employment Documents (If Applicable)
For applicants who are currently employed, the following documents are required:

  • Certificate of Employment issued by the employer – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Recent Payroll Slips – original document accompanied by certified English translation

4. Business Owner / Self-Employed Documents (If Applicable)
If the applicant is a business owner or self-employed in Indonesia, the following supporting documents may be required:

  • Business Registration Certificate (NIB / SIUP / Company Registration) – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Deed of Establishment of the Company (Akta Pendirian Perusahaan) – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Company Tax Identification Number (NPWP Perusahaan) – original document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Personal Tax Identification Number (NPWP Pribadi) – opsional
  • Company Bank Statements (last 3 months, if applicable) – original copy document accompanied by certified English translation
  • Letter of Explanation Regarding Business Ownership and Operational Status

5. Travel Supporting Documents
The following documents support the purpose and details of the trip.

  • Travel Itinerary
  • Flight Booking Reservation
  • Hotel Booking Confirmation
  • Travel Insurance valid for the entire stay in the Schengen Area
  • Passport Signature Page (copy)
