The China Double Entry Business Visa (M) is designed for individuals who need to travel to China for business purposes with the flexibility of entering the country twice within the visa validity period. This visa is ideal for business travelers who may need to leave China and return again for meetings, negotiations, or other professional activities.

Common purposes include attending business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, or visiting business partners and companies in China.

Visa Validity & Stay Duration

  • Entry Type: Double Entry (2 entries)
  • Validity Period: Typically 3 to 6 months (subject to Embassy approval)
  • Duration of Stay: Usually up to 30 days per entry (subject to approval)

Please note that each entry allows a separate stay period. Once both entries are used, the visa will no longer be valid even if the validity period has not expired.

Required Documents
Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:

  1. Passport valid for at least 6 months with minimum two blank pages
  2. Recent passport-size photograph (white background)
  3. Completed visa application form
  4. Invitation Letter from a company or authorized institution in China
  5. Copy of National ID (KTP) or KITAS/KITAP (for foreign nationals)
  6. Personal bank statement (last 3 months)
  7. Travel itinerary
  8. Hotel booking or accommodation details
  9. Flight reservation (recommended, not required before approval)

Additional Requirements (If Applicable)

  1. Employment certificate (in English), especially if applying outside your jurisdiction
  2. For minors (under 18 years old):Birth certificate
  3. Copy of parents’ ID/passport
  4. Parental consent letter

Visa Processing & Jurisdiction
Please note that the processing of a China visa depends on the consular jurisdiction, which is determined by:

The issuing location of your passport (for Indonesian citizens)
Below are the applicable jurisdiction areas:

  • Jakarta Jurisdiction
    Covers: Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Papua, all provinces in Kalimantan, and all provinces in Sulawesi
  • Medan Jurisdiction
    Covers: North Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Lampung, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Aceh
  • Surabaya Jurisdiction
    Covers: East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, North Maluku, and Maluku
  • Bali Jurisdiction
    Covers: Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)

Visa Requirements & Eligibility
To apply for this visa, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your planned departure date
  • Your passport must have at least two blank visa pages
  • Applicants must not have any Chinese visa rejection within the past 6 months
  • Applicants must not have any criminal record

Jurisdiction & Additional Requirements

  1. Applicants whose passports are issued outside Jakarta jurisdiction may still apply in Jakarta by providing an Employment Certificate in English, confirming their employment in Jakarta
  2. For applicants under Medan jurisdiction, it is mandatory to provide proof of current presence in Indonesia. This can be shown through:Indonesian Immigration entry stamp, or
  3. Other valid supporting documents if the entry stamp is unavailable
