Virginia at IVS did a great job helping me to extend my VOA for an extra 30 days!
Initially I was skeptical about handing over my passport, since this would not be common practice in my country. But then I visited immigration in person, and I realized it would be a complicated nightmare to extend VOA on my own, requiring multiple trips and leaving my passport there for weeks.
