Travel to Indonesia in 2023 : Essentials Guide

Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
Visa
Visa You can apply for a visa depending on your purpose of visit.
VOA or eVOA
You can get VOA upon your arrival at the airport or you can also apply for eVOA pre-departure through molina.imigration.go.id. VOA and eVOA are valid for 30 days and can be extended for another 30 days. So the maximum stay of this visa is 60 days. You can read countries that are eligible to apply for VOA here.

Vaccination
To enter Indonesia, travelers over the age of 18 must be fully vaccinated of Covid-19 (Indonesia accepts all vaccine types). Those who did not receive the last dose should do so no later than 14 days before departure.
If you are not allowed to receive the vaccine, you must present a letter from a doctor at the Public Hospital of your departure country stating that you are unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Return Ticket or Flight Out Ticket of Indonesia
Immigration at the Airport may require you to show a return ticket or a flight out ticket to another country.
Install the SATU SEHAT Mobile App
This App was previously known as Pedulilindungi App. The name has been changed to SATU SEHAT Mobile as of March 1, 2023. This app is available for download from the Playstore or the Appstore. If you already have Pedulilindungi App installed, you only need to update it.
You may also be asked to log in with the email or phone number you registered with the Pedulilindungi App.
Custom Declaration
To enter Indonesia, you must fill a Custom Declaration. This can be done at the airport upon arrival or in advance via the official website ecd.beacukai.go.id.
Travel or Health Insurance
It is actually not mandatory required. However, we recommend you to have health or travel insurance to protect you while traveling in Indonesia.
