What is Second Home Visa?
Second-Home Visa refers to a type of non-working Visa intended for foreigners and/or their companions who will stay in Indonesia for 5 years after all the specific requirements are fulfilled.

Whom is this visa for?
Second-Home Visa is suitable for foreigners who come to Indonesia as Investors, Travelers and Elderly / Retirement Tourists. Holders of a Second-Home Visa can also apply for the same Visa for their children, husband/wife, or parents as followers/companions.
Duration of Stay
You are allowed to stay in Indonesia for up to 5 years.
Requirements
REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTS (PERSONAL)
1. Main Document
- Nationality Passport that is valid and still valid for at least 36 (thirty-six) months;
- Proof of Fund in the form of an account owned by a foreigner or Guarantor with a value of at least IDR 2,000,000,000.00 (two billion rupiah) or equivalent;
- Recent coloured photograph; and
- Curriculum Vitae.
2. Additional Documents
- Evidence of having received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine;
- Statement letter willing to comply with all applicable health protocols in Indonesia; and
- Proof of ownership of health insurance/travel insurance which includes health financing, and/or a statement of willingness to pay independently if affected by COVID-19 while in Indonesian Territory;
- Recent coloured photograph; and
- Curriculum Vitae.
UPLOADING REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTS (COMPANION – WIFE)
1. Main Document
- Nationality Passport that is valid and still valid for at least 36 (thirty-six) months;
- A recent coloured photograph with measurement of 4 cm x 6 cm (four centimetres by six centimetres) with a white background;
- Second-Home Visa or Second-Home ITAS that belongs to husband or wife, children or parents who are legal and still valid;
- Evidence of having a family relationship with a foreigner holding a Second-Home Visa or Second-Home ITAS in the form of a marriage certificate or marriage book, for husbands/wives holding Second Home Visas or Second Home ITAS, translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator except in English.
2. Additional Documents
- Evidence of having received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine;
- Statement letter willing to comply with all applicable health protocols in Indonesia; and
- Proof of ownership of health insurance/travel insurance which includes health financing, and/or a statement of willingness to pay independently if affected by COVID-19 while in Indonesian Territory.
UPLOADING REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTS (COMPANION – PARENTS OR CHILDREN)
1. Main Document
- Nationality Passport that is valid and still valid for at least 36 (thirty-six) months;
- A recent coloured photograph measuring 4 cm x 6 cm (four centimetres by six centimetres) with a white background;
- Second Home Visa or Second Home ITAS belonging to husband or wife, children or parents who are legal and still valid;
- Proof of having a family relationship with a foreigner holding a Second Home Visa or Second Home ITAS in the form of a birth certificate or family card stating that the foreigner is the parent or child of the holder of a Second Home Visa or Second Home ITAS, translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator unless in English.
2. Additional Documents
- Evidence of having received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine;
- Statement letter willing to comply with all applicable health protocols in Indonesia; and
- Proof of ownership of health insurance/travel insurance which includes health financing, and/or a statement of willingness to pay independently if affected by COVID-19 while in Indonesian Territory.
